I'm a newer Dev looking to push out a demo for my first real game. I've spent countless hours messing around in RPG Maker, and have made numerous games, but this is the first game I've made with code in a program other than RPG Maker. I'm nearly finished with all of the core mechanics, and should have the demo done in a few days. I was thinking about it, and decided I wanted to use custom art and assets instead of the free ones I found on itch. This is where you come in!
Pixel Art
I'm looking for a Pixel Artist to essentially redo and redesign the stages I have already written. I have a GDD, but you will have complete control over the project's visuals. I'm comfortable with whatever resolution you choose as long as it doesn't take too long to pump out. Sprites, Tilesets, and Level Design is required. I'm looking for someone who can work while chatting, whether in vc or text, and will allow me to make small edits here or there if needed.
Right now, I'm looking only to finish a Demo. If all goes well, I'd love to have someone who is willing to stay onboard for the full project.
Concept Art
Alongside a Pixel Artist, I'm looking for someone capable of doing 2d art as well. I'm not at all picky on the style as long as it's consistent and meshes well with the design of the current characters. The Concept Artist will work to give the Pixel Artist fleshed out ideas, and to create promotional material that can be used during crowdfunding. You will have full control over your workload and style, as long as it meshes well with the Pixel Artist.
Payment
I would never ask someone in the industry to work for free. I'm an indie dev and by no means do I have cash to burn. I've saved up several hundred to get us through to the demo, which will be released alongside of a Kickstarter. Right now, you'll be paid a sum upfront each month and you can choose how much work that sum is worth. I'm willing to speaking about this more in-depth, and if you have specific rates mention them in the DM you send.
